Restorative Yoga and Sound in the Park
Relax into an experience like no other.
- Waupekun Park
Sherry from Soul Symphony will be performing the sound spa while Kim from YoGarage will be guiding the restorative yoga practice. Sound Therapy uses sound, music, and special instruments played in therapeutic ways, combined with deep self-reflection techniques to improve health and well-being. Restorative yoga is a type of yoga known for its relaxing, calming, and healing effect. Combined with sound, this experience will be beyond relaxing and calming. Register in advance and bring your yoga mat, bolster or pillow, and blanket with you. We will have some props but we invite you to bring your own. Can't come because you can't find a babysitter? No problem, we will also have activities for the kids 4+ during the event. Jeanette and Wendy will be guiding kids through their own movement activity, craft, and helping them build their own healthy snack. This event will take place at Waupekun (Blue) Park, 225 Longwood Ln, Saturday, July 16th from 9-10 and Wednesday, August 3rd, from 6-7 pm. This is a community event so ther is no fee but donations are welcome. PLEASE EMAIL firstname.lastname@example.org with a final headcount for your group if you are planning on bringing more people/children that just yourself so we can make sure we have enough resources for everyone.
