I love this slide because it illustrates the importance of giving our children the proper nutrition for growth and development. This study was conducted with children who were previously diagnosed with developmental coordination disorder, where children have difficulties with motor function, learning, behavior, and psychosocial adjustment. The study found that treatment with fatty acids may offer safe treatment for learning and behavior issues in children suffering from this disorder. Deficiencies in Omega 3 fatty acids warrants more research, some doctors and researchers believe that many children diagnosed with ADD are actually nutrient deficient.
